Theatre & Live Event Production Services was started by Tom McEvilly in 2012.  With over 26 years experience in the entertainment industry we are as keen as ever to keep providing first class, friendly, efficient and enthusiastic technical production management along with technical services & consultancy.

Tom’s skill base is extensive and has ranged from Stage Management, Production Carpentry,  Automation Engineering & Programming.  He now concentrates his efforts on Technical and Production Management including 2D & 3D CAD to get productions into those particularly hard to fit places!.  He has often worked in London’s West End but his speciality and passion is in touring large scale productions in the UK and around the globe.

Some of Tom’s past and present client list includes some of the biggest names in the theatre world and includes:

Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures

Trafalgar Entertainment

Playful Productions

Disney

Cameron Mackintosh

and many more….

Over the past 24 years Tom has worked with Sir Matthew Bourne’s ‘New Adventures’ and is now their  Freelance Technical Director overseeing all of their incredible dance productions which continue to grow in number.  Remaining freelance has meant Tom has also been able to work with other productions as well which is really important to him.

In addtion we have branched out further with ‘New Adventures’ by providing a ‘Placements Management’ service to start bringing work experience and work placements into the mix.  Working with venues around the country we are looking to the younger generations to come in and gain valuable experience and expertise working alongside our world class venue, touring and production teams.

As our busy schedule goes from strength to strength we still enjoy having such a variety of productions to work on and are always on the lookout for new companies and productions to share our knowledge and expertise with.  We have some very exciting projects coming up in 2026/27 and beyond….
